Gerald Junior Eastman

Gerald Junior Eastman, 85, of Newport, died Thursday November 24, at Carteret General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday November 29, at Coastal Carolina Cemetery.
He served his country in the US Army as a Ranger (Ozarks) during WWII from the beaches of Normandy to Germany.
He is survived by two daughters Cathy Imhoff of Newport and Karen Robey of Newport: four grandchildren Matthew Davis of Virginia Beach, VA, Julie Scalsky of Willow Spring, NC, Jeremy Davis of Newport, and Heidi Davis of Erie,PA: eight great grandchildren Cooper Davis, Alexandra Moul, Megan Moul, William Scalsky, Karissa Stanley, Michael Rugzkowski, Adriann Davis, and Steven Davis: a sister Pauline Bigelow of TN.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Carl Howard Eastman and Frank Eastman.
A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
