Gerald Emory Burnett, 69, of Newport, passed away Thursday April 11, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Burnett of the home: two daughters Cindy Perry of Newport, and Tammy Hicks and husband Don of Newport: one son Brad Burnett and wife Christy of Crittden, KY: five grandchildren Amanda Perry, Jennifer Perry, Brandon Perry, Samuel Hicks, and Seth Hicks : and one sister Evelyn Brookshire of Lufkin, TX.
Visitation is 5:00-8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
