Geovanny “Nañi” Vega

Geovanny “Nañi” Vega, 30, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at her home.

Her memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., on Saturday, April 22nd, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 324 McCabe Rd., Newport, NC 28570. Zoom information ID#: 81325111749 / Password: reunion.

Geovanny, known to her loved ones as Nañi, was born on January 3, 1993, in the beautiful Dominican Republic. She later moved to the United States where she earned her bachelor’s degree, graduating cum laude, at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. Ñañi has lived in Carteret County, North Carolina, with her husband Jose for the past 5 years.

Nañi loved music and especially enjoyed singing her favorite tunes and dancing to the beat of a good song. She was a faithful member of the Jehovah’s Witness in Carteret County. Nañi was gifted with working with children and wonderfully explained the Bible, teaching God’s Word the Bible.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jose M. Vega; mother, Lucia Hidalo; father, German Ceballo; sister, Germania Ceballo; brother, Ivan Ceballo; and her fur babies, her dogs, Coco Puffs and Ocean.
