George "Tommy" Thomas Guthrie

George “Tommy” Thomas Guthrie, 31, and Brayden “TT” Thomas Guthrie, 8, of Mill Creek, passed away together on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.

Their funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, March 18, 2016 at Graham Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Bill Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Tommy and Brayden attended Graham Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Tommy is survived by his parents, Tom and Nellie Guthrie of Mill Creek; two brothers, John A. Willis, Jr. and Melton Duffy Guthrie both of Mill Creek; three sisters, Marilyn Guthrie and husband, Andrew of Broad Creek, Erma McCabe of Raleigh, and April Nicole Thomas of Raleigh.

Brayden is survived by his mother, Amanda Dawn Leegins of Norfolk, VA; sister, Destani Spurlock of Norfolk, VA; paternal grandparents, Tom and Nellie Guthrie of Mill Creek; maternal grandmother, Vicki Leegins of Norfolk, VA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roderick Leegins.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Graham Memorial.
