George William Young, 78, of Morehead City, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Pastor Manley B. Rose, Jr. officiating.
George worked 45 years in the transportation industry, and at the time of his retirement he was the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the South Carolina State Ports Authority.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Lee Young; and daughter Tracy Young Carrington and husband Scott.
He is predeced in death by his father John Allen Young, and mother Mildred Maye Guerin.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crystal Coast Hospice House 100 Big Rock Weigh Newport, NC 28570.
