George F. Putney

George F. Putney, 61, of Swansboro, passed away Monday, January 27­, 2020, at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.

A graveside service, for family and friends, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Olga Putney of Cedar Point; daughters, Jessica Leah Austerman and husband John of Leonardtown, MD, Madelyn Nicole Knott and husband Marcellus of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Gabriella Michelle Fettig and husband Christopher of Kewaskum, WI; brothers, David Putney of Florida and Ronald Putney of Connecticut; and grandchildren, Eden Austerman, John Michael Austerman, William Austerman, Kohen Knott and Elizabeth Knott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Jacqueline Putney; and brother, William Putney.
