George Thomas Lawrence

George Thomas Lawrence, 78, of Mill Creek, passed away Saturday, September 7­, 2019, at the Lighthouse Village Assisted Living in Jacksonville, NC.

There will be no services at this time.

George honorably served our country in the United State Army for 5 years and the Army National Guard for 3 years. During his time in the military, George bravely fought in the Vietnam War where he earned a Bronze Star Medal for his heroic achievement in a combat zone.

He is survived by his sister, Sally Conway of Beaufort and brother, Amos Lawrence of Mill Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Vion Lawrence.
