George Lyman Kilpatrick, 67 of Peletier, NC, formerly of Hookerton, NC, passed away at home on June, 23 2013.
Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Peletier First Missionary Baptist Church, Peletier, NC. Reverend Michael Blevins and Pastor Brandon Jones will be officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June, 26 at 11am at Getheseme Memorial Park, Morehead City, NC.
He was an active and faithful member of Peletier First Missionary Baptist Chuch in Peletier, NC, and was retired from the town of Emerald Isle where he worked in the maintenance department.
He is survived by his siblings, Faye Vinson of Peletier and Keith Kilpatrick of Cedar Point. He is also survived by his caregiver and niece, Karen Vinson, his nieces Brooke Kilpatrick, Shanna Parkin, and his nephew Jonathan Kilpatrick
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Lyman Kilpatrick and Georgie Eleanor Kilpatrick of Emerald Isle.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June, 25 from 6pm to 7pm and also following the funeral service at the church.
