George C. Kimble, 67, of Newport, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Cherry Point Bay.
There will be a family gathering at Radio Island on Sunday. The time will be announced.
He was a loving father who will be missed dearly.
He is survived by four children, daughter, Lisa Hancock of Tennessee, Donnie Craghead of Oklahoma, daughter, Contrell Helton of Beaufort and daughter, Danyel Warren of Newport; nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Program, 4200 Morganton Rd, Suite 300, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
