George “Bill” William Allaire

George “Bill” William Allaire, 75, of Morehead City, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

Services will be private.

Bill was a skilled craftsman that enjoyed working with his hands. He loved living by the water, boating and fishing. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, an Eagle Scout, and he was an Envoy for the Pi Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi in Havelock. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend that will be missed.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jan Allaire of the home; daughter, Allison Allaire-James and husband Chuck of Chapel Hill; sons, Chris Allaire of Winston Salem and Bill Allaire and wife Jill of Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Susan Hainey and husband Mike of Seekonk, MA; and grandchildren, Chelsea James, Alex James, John Michael Allaire, and Tesla Allaire.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Chappell Allaire; and a sister, Elizabeth Richer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to The Children’s Ministry of University Baptist Church, 100 S. Columbia St., Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
