Freida Crews Price, 80, of Morehead City, entered eternity with her Lord and Savior surrounded by family Friday, November 13, 2015, at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation in Havelock.
A service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Core Creek United Methodist Church in Newport with Pastor Judy Billings and Pastor Matt Smith officiating. Interment will follow.
Freida was born on July 25, 1935, to George and Jesse Estelle Crews in Daytona Beach, Florida. She married Carl Lee Price, Sr. on December 24, 1951 with whom she raised 5 beautiful children. Freida was an avid lover of photography, music, NASCAR, the beach, traveling and shopping. Freida attended Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church in Beaufort. Her passion was spending time with her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her many friends, or her beloved dog Shadow and she was always on the go with one of them.
She is survived by her sons, Carl Lee Price Jr., and wife Deborah Price, and Mike Price, and Marti; her daughters Teri Piner, and husband Jimmy Piner, Sharon Price Yeomans, and husband Jason Yeomans, and Cristina Price Reese, and husband Tony Reese; her grandchildren Kaeti Price Daniel, Eric Lee Price, Adam Christopher Price, Melissa Price Williams, James-Michael Piner, Christa Laxton , Kalah Piner, Cristopher Glenn Reese, Victoria Brooke Reese, Karlie Grayce Yeomans, and Olivia Riley Yeomans; her great-grandchildren Shelby Lynn Clarke, Jane Price Daniel, Raylee Iris Clarke, Elizabeth “Libby” May Daniel, Lathan Christopher Price, Braxton Lee Price, Hana Kate Williams, Kolby Piner, Wyatt Avery Williams, Travis Laxton, Landon Lee Reese, Jacob Piner, Camden Shay Williams, and expectant Alexis Ann Reese; sister Laverne Collier; niece Donzil Lancaster and nephew Eddie Clark. And extended family, Beverly Price, Betty Price, Suzanne Smith.
She was preceded in death by husband Carl Lee Price Sr.; father George Crews and mother Jesse Estelle Crews; sister Pauline Clark and brothers Frank Gibson and Billy Gibson; and grandson Austin Scott Sherron.
The family will accept visitors one hour prior to the service at Core Creek United Methodist Church.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to the Austin Sherron Foundation at 115 Soundside Drive, Atlantic Beach NC, 28512.
