Frank Anthony Radicella

Frank Anthony Radicella, 81, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on October 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Friday, October 25, at Annunciation Catholic Church (246 East Main St., Havelock, NC). The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Annunciation Catholic Church followed by interment at Forest Oaks Memorial Gardens (908 Lake Rd., Havelock, NC). A reception will follow at Annunciation Catholic School.

Frank was born on February 24, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Anthony and Josephine Radicella. He moved to North Carolina with his family in 1993.

Frank was a devoted husband and father. He and JoAnn were married for 54 years. They have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. Frank was happiest when the entire family was together. He enjoyed planning holiday gatherings and family vacations that brought all of his children and grandchildren together to make memories. Frank truly lived life to the fullest.

He was always ready for an adventure. He loved to travel and visit with friends. He was a devoted and active member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He was a lector, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He took great pride in serving the people of his church community.

Frank was deeply cherished by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. 

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Radicella; his sister, Joanne Baldasarra and husband David; his children, Lisa Radicella, Debra Sommer and husband Harry, Anthony Radicella and wife Naomi, and Terri Morris and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Landyn, Frankie, Grace, Matthew, Kelsey, Preston, and Ella; and great-granddaughter, August.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Josephine Radicella, and his sister, Rosemary Menechella.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
