Francis "Frank" Albert Plisko

Francis "Frank" Albert Plisko, 56, of Broad Creek, died Saturday April 6, 2013 doing what he loved best, skydiving with his boys.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Glad Tidings Church with Rev. Tim Mariner officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mr. Plisko served in the US Army for 26 in the Special Forces Unit, and he retired as a highly decorated non commissioned officer and received the bronze star medal, among many other awards.
He is survived by three sons Jeffery Plisko of Newport, NC, Michael John Plisko of Newport, NC, and Andrew Kenneth Plisko of Newport, NC: a sister Annie Iishi of Spokane, WA: four brothers Michael Joseph Plisko of Newport, NC, Andrew Jude Plisko of Fountain Inn, SC, John William Plisko of Newport, NC, and Peter Thomas Plisko of New Orleans, LA: and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
