Francis "Frank" Charles Brazda
July 14, 1923 — November 26, 2017
Frank Charles Brazda, 94, of Newport, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
His funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow at David B. Garner Cemetery in Newport.
Frank was a U.S. Marine Corps World War II Veteran serving in the South Pacific. He was a past member of the Newport Moose Lodge, and retired from NARF after 33 years of service.
He is survived by sons, Frank Brazda and wife Sandie of Morehead City, Eddie Caldwell and wife Darlene of Newport, and David Miller and wife Rosie of Havelock; daughters, Trudy Yingling and husband David of Inwood, WV, Paula Johnson of Newport, and Becky Clark and husband Vaughn of Havelock; also 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Brazda; and his parents, Frank Brazda and Ethel Brazda Snyder.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday, prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
