Frances "Sissy" Ellen Stephenson

Frances “Sissy” Ellen Stephenson, 73, of Sea Level, passed away Tuesday, July 24­, 2018, at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay in Sea Level with Pastor Jim Elmore officiating.

Sissy was a very loving and easy-going person. Her selflessness and concern for others was most evident in her work as a Home Health Care professional.

She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Yeargan of Garner, Becky Stephenson and husband, Alberto Castro, of Gloucester; brothers, Ed Stephenson of Morganton, Robert Stephenson of Newport; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winston and Mamie Stephenson and 2 nephews.

The family wishes to thank Carteret Health Care, as well as Stephanie and staff at Snug Harbor.
