Frances (Morton) Yeager

Frances Morton Yeager, 85, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday March 20, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital after a brief bout with cancer. She was born June 10, 1927 in Onslow County to the late Roney and Trixie Morton.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gerald Stephen Castle officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
Left to cherish her memory, son, Donald Yeager of Morehead City; her daughter, Coretta Stoutz and husband Cliff of Greensboro, NC; granddaughters, Beth Chalk Honeycutt and husband Chris of Greenville, SC, Stephanie Yeager Rzepka and husband Robert of Suwanee, GA; great-grandchildren, Clay and Cord Honeycutt, Hannah, Sarah, and Patrick Rzepka; sisters, Mary Leone of South Windsor, CT, Letha Ryan and Jean Wetherington both of Morehead City, Doris Rhue of Newport, and Susie Bradley and husband Dale of Huntersville, NC; brother, John Morton and wife Darlene of St. Augustine, FL; sister-in-law, Dawn Morton of Chesapeake, VA; also many, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. "Bill" Yeager, brother, Roney Morton, Jr., and sister, Betty Lou O'Neal.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
Flowers are welcome, or donations can be made to the Building Fund of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, 111 Hodges St, Morehead City, NC 28557.
