Frances Anastasi

Frances L. Anastasi, age 83, of Beaufort, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport.
Born September 10, 1932 Frances was a native of Martin County. She was the youngest and last surviving child of the 15 children of the late Mamie and Javin Leggett.
Surviving Frances is daughter and caregiver, Dona Anastasi-Styron of Beaufort, her loving granddaughter Francesca and grandson-in-law Frank Hazard and their daughter Frances Elizabeth of SC. Also surviving is daughter Pamela Pfeiffer and her children Alexa and Trent of MA; daughter-in-law Regina Anastasi-Holsopple of NY; numerous nieces and nephews and her devoted friends Peggy Goss, Lisa Goss, and Josephine Justice of Atlantic Beach, NC.
Preceding her in death was her husband and former Atlantic Beach councilman Domenick, son Philip Anastasi, and grandson John-Eric Styron.
A celebration of life is planned at a later date.
