Flaurendia "Flossie" Dare (Salter) Lewis

Flaurendia "Flossie" Lewis, 86, of Morehead City, died Friday August 24, 2012, at Harborview Nursing Facility.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Motley officiating.
Flossie was a member of Franklin Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son C. Duncan Lewis and wife Sam of Morehead City and a daughter Lucrecia McBee and husband Richard of Amissville, VA: a sister Helen Nelson Wade of Atlantic: three grandchildren Heather L. Strickland and husband Norwood of Four Oaks, Ashley L. Wright of Havelock, and Todd Duncan Lewis and wife Brandy of Benson: six great grandchildren Drew Boyd of Ft. Hood, TX, Samantha Wright of Marathon, FL, Hunter Wright of Havelock, Mary Margaret Boyd of Four Oaks, Johnathan Strickland of Four Oaks, Savannah Strickland of Four Oaks, Ava Lewis of Benson, Faith Strickland of Four Oaks, and Aidan Lewis of Benson: and one great great granddaughter Sophia Lyne of Marathon , FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Lewis.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
