Fannie Marie Brown
September 30, 1927 — September 2, 2016
Fannie Marie Guthrie Brown, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016, a few weeks shy of her 89th birthday; joining her beloved husband, Lawrence Brown and parents, Mr. & Mrs. Louis Guthrie in paradise.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Rev. Clyde Cheezem officiating. Interment to follow at Bayview Cemetery.
An original Promise Lander, she grew up in Franklin Memorial Church. She was a faithful wife and devoted mother.
She was cared for in her final years by her son, Jeff and wife Anne, in her home, where she passed away with her loved ones at her bedside.
Fannie is survived by her daughter, Dana Bierma and husband Steve; son, Jeff Brown and wife Anne; two grandchildren, Gina Houcek and Hannah Brown; three great grandchildren, Elise, Aiden, and Reed Houcek; and sister, Sandra Bell.
The family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
