Everette Lee Pearson

Everett Lee Pearson, 85, of Morehead City, North Carolina, went home to be with his Savior, May 5, 2021.

Everette was born in Alexander County, NC on June 3, 1935, the son of the late Joseph Lawrence Pearson and Gladys Fortner Pearson of Elkin NC. He graduated from Jonesville High School in 1955.  Everett was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy in the 1950s, with much of his tour station aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Midway, CV 41.

Much of his adult life was spent in Wilkesboro, NC where he worked as an HVAC technician. He never lost his love for Wilkes County. There was a talented creative side to Everett which was never recognized publicly.  We do cherish some of his art that we still have.

Everette is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Vivian Pearson of Morehead City and his son, Scott Pearson of Lewisville NC; along with two sisters, Martha Jean Pearson Martin of Ronda, NC and Victoria Pearson Lent of Elkin, NC.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Pearson Nance (September 5, 2020) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.

There will be a family grave side memorial at Lebanon Baptist Church in Taylorsville, NC, the date to be announced.
