Evelyn Claire (Cook) Thompson

Evelyn Claire Thompson, 88, of Newport, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
The family will celebrate her life at a time not yet determined.
She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Stuart and husband Richard and Cynthia Yoder and husband Norman all of Newport, and Cathleen Densmore of Hephzibah, GA; six grandchildren, Richard Stuart, Jr., Rachel Stuart, Jeffrey Roma, and Christopher Roma and wife Samantha all of Newport, Lisa Densmore and Andrew Densmore both of Hephzibah, GA; and seven great-grandchildren, Savannah, Alex, Eliza, Holden Roma, Bryce, Riley, and Artemis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thompson, and 12 brothers and sisters.
