Evelyn Styron Willis

Evelyn Styron Willis, 75, of Beaufort, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Carolina East Medical Center.

Her memorial service will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Live Oak Grove Christian Church, officiated by Pastor Bill Pollock.

Evelyn was an avid Bingo player and was faithfully at Bingo every Saturday night.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Nelson and husband, Lee of Stacy; son, Tommy Willis and wife, Margaret Riggs of Smyrna; daughter-in-law, Susan Willis of Atlantic; sisters, Sue Richards of Beaufort, Diane Taylor of Jacksonville; brothers, Billy Styron of Mill Creek, Rick Styron of Morehead City; grandchildren, Melissa Willis, Harley Willis, Rebecca Nelson; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Brantley, Brody and Emerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Thelma Styron and her sister, Peggy Beck.

Family will receive friends following the memorial service on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Live Oak Grove Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be send to the Otway Fire and Rescue Department Scholarship Fund in memory of Mrs. Evelyn Willis at 509 Highway 70 East, Beaufort, NC 28516.
