Evelyn NMN (Hall) Jones

Evelyn H. Jones, 92, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at her home with family.
A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at the home of her son Grover and Kay Matlock 135 Twin Oaks Lane Newport, NC.
She is survived by one son Grover Matlock and wife Kay of Morehead City; two stepsons Jack Jones of Gastonia, and Toby Jones of Hendersonville; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband John D. Jones, a step daughter Nancy A. Jones, two sisters Evangeline Hall Kellum, and Ellen Ray Hall Storey, two brothers T. Edison Hall, and John E. Hall.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to th Carteret Home Health Care and Hospice c/o Carteret General Hospital 3500 Arendell St. Morehead City, NC 28557.
