Evangeline Ann Murdoch

Evangeline Ann Murdoch, 74, of Grifton, NC, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at Vidant Medical in Greenville.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Wildwood Presbyterian with the Rev. Robbie Phillips officiating. Interment to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
Evangeline is survived by her daughter, Kim Johnson and husband Bruce of Morehead City; son, Buddy Murdoch of Morehead City and “other son”, Kerry Mebane of Williamston; brother, Jimmy Mills and wife Carolyn of Newport; sisters, Judy Norris and husband Buddy of Newport and Joann Cottle and husband Jerry of Swansboro; grandchildren, Bruce and Kaley Johnson of Weaverville, NC and Brandon and Sarah Johnson of Charlotte, NC; great grandchild Kenley Johnson of Charlotte; companion Jack Harris of Grifton; stepson Michael Harris and wife April of Ayden; step daughter, Angie Harris of Grifton; and seven step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Murdoch; and parents, Carl Andrew and Margaret Ann “Pollock” Mills.
The family will welcome friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday June 17, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City and other times at the home of Kim and Bruce Johnson at 1905 Snowy Egret Drive, Morehead City, NC 28557.
