Evan Clarke Brewer

Evan Clarke Brewer, 27, of Emerald Isle, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

His funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor David Hahn.  The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., prior to the funeral service. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed through his obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days.

Evan was born in Greenville, North Carolina, on October 8, 1994. As a gifted athlete, Evan was a top-notch basketball and baseball player and was known as an incredible left-handed pitcher.

He was the proud owner of Crystal Coast Gutters and was always happy when he was able to help others. The motivation he displayed was credited and awarded with multiple 5-star customer reviews. His easy-going personality, wonderful smile, and gift for talking made him a great businessman, friend, and amazing person to be around.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle Brewer of Emerald Isle; father, Kenny Brewer and companion Linda Lee of New Bern; brother, Jordan Brewer and wife Erica of Winterville; paternal grandmother, Mary Eleanor Brewer of Tarboro; and niece, Livie Marrett Brewer.

Evan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Brewer Sr. and maternal grandparents, Kenneth Jones and Linda Jones.
