Eva T. (Fulcher) Garner

Eva Fulcher Garner, 93, of Morehead City, died Friday, February 28, 2014 at her home with family.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Bratton officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Eva was a member of North River United Methodist Church, the family "Patriarch", and a homemaker. She was a proud supporter of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She volunteered at Carteret General Hospital, and nursing homes in Carteret County. Giving recognition to Willard and Eva Garner for there charitable acts of kindness is a park named for them in Pine Knoll Shores.
She is survived by two sons Ches Garner and wife Judy of Raleigh and Pine Knoll Shores, and Mike Garner of Pine Knoll Shores; four grandchildren Debbie Garner of Irvine, CA, Steven Garner of Wilmington, NC, Travis Garner and wife Megan of Charleston,SC, and Tisha Garner of Beaufort, NC; three great grandchildren Wilson Garner, Caroline Garner, and Elizabeth Garner; brother in-law Nick Garner and wife Bobbi of Lumberton, NC; sister Julia Day of Morehead City; sister in-law Florence Fulcher of Florida; and special nieces Florence Mann, Pat Brown, and Rita Conner of Beaufort; special daughter in-law Ginny Jones and husband Tommy of Marshallberg, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willard H. Garner, eight brothers and sisters Ruth Fulcher, Joe Fulcher, Lin Fulcher, Howard Fulcher, Carl Fulcher, Robert Fulcher, Ed Fulcher, and May Fulcher.
The family would like to extend their heart felt appreciation to her caregivers Ange McPhal of Morehead City, Mackenze Riggs of Morehead City, Loyce Eppard of Newport, and Lucy McLaughlin of Salter Path.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
