Eunice (Mason) Honeycutt

Eunice Mason Honeycutt, 97, of Atlantic, went to be with her Lord Friday, August 2, 2013, at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 Monday at Atlantic United Methodist Church with Rev. George Gouge and Rev. Terry McInnis officiating.
Eunice was a lifelong member of Atlantic United Methodist Church. She was a the director of nurses for over 25 years at Sea Level Hospital. She enjoyed traveling with her friends, gardening, quilting, crocheting, and visits with her friends and church family.
She is survived by two children Donald Wilson Honeycutt and wife Julie of Atlantic, and Kathleen Tillett and husband Ken of Atlantic; five grandchildren Gregory Swartz of Dayton, OH, Krystal Gray and husband Ronald of Morehead City, Kristopher Honeycutt of Newport, Justin Tillett and wife Ashley of Hillsborough, and Kenneth M. Tillett and wife Leslie of Ocracoke; seven great grandchildren Hailey Swartz, Dawton Gray, Saylor Gray, Rylinn Gray, Holden Tillett, Andrew Tillett, and Kyle Tillett; niece Betty Wheeler; and former daughter in-law Cheryle Swartz.
Receiving of friends following service and other times at Kathleen and Ken's house.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Atlantic United Methodist Church 511 School Dr. Atlantic, NC 28511.
