Eugene C. "Tom" Yeomans

Eugene Carroll "Tom" Yeomans, Sr., 75, of Harkers Island, died Saturday, October 17, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Yeomans was a member of Harkers Island Pentecostal Holiness Church, and he was a commercial fisherman.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Harkers Island Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Stacey Watford and Rev. Paul Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mae Yeomans of the home; daughter, Eugenia Johnson and husband Reis of Harkers Island; son, Carroll Yeomans and wife Darlene of Straits; brother, Louis Yeomans of Harkers Island; four grandchildren, Jeff Johnson and Megan Johnson both of Harkers Island and Taylor Yeomans and Jarrett Yeomans both of Straits; six nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernie and Stella Yeomans, sister, Sara Lee Willis, three brothers, Fernie B. Yeomans, Jr., Luther D. Yeomans, and Ellis Yeomans, and a niece Nannette Yeomans Garner.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at the church.
