Eugene Williams, 85, of Newport, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his home.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Amariah Garner Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Poling officiaiting.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Williams of the home; two sons Randy Williams and wife Janet of Newport, Kerry Williams of Newport, and daughter Terry Williams of the home: six grandchildren, Tracie Adams Tooker, Crystal J. Williams, Christopher Braxton, Christopher Williams, Samuel Stallings, Elizabeth Stallings Garner: seven great grandchildren Andrew, Alex, Ayden Tooker, Christian, Haven, Noah Stallings, Jazmine Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents Millard Filmore Williams and Helen Olivia Rouse Williams, and brother Rex Conner.
