Ethan Daniel Pittman, 14, of Merrimon, North Carolina, tragically passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
A memorial service to celebrate Ethan’s life will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Munden Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Rev. David Bruce, with family receiving friends one hour prior. For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be live streamed on Ethan's obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website, where it will be available for viewing for 90 days.
Born on April 10, 2010, in Morehead City, NC, Ethan was known for his bright spirit and zest for life. He attended East Carteret High School before being home-schooled. He had a passion for video games and music, and he loved spending time outdoors, whether it was walking in the woods or enjoying a day of fishing.
Ethan, who was affectionately nicknamed “Sloan” by his granddaddy, will forever be a light in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Ethan will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Alysa Pittman of Merrimon; his father, William Sloan Lamb and wife Krystal of Morehead City; sisters, Emily Pittman of Merrimon, Harmony Lamb, Eva Baker, Layla Robinson, and Gracelynn Marth, all of Morehead City; brothers, Michael Keiser of Merrimon and Paul Baker of Morehead City; as well as his maternal grandfather, Jimmy Brock of Merrimon; paternal grandmother, Angel Oliver of Newport; and his paternal grandfather, Billy Lamb of Hawkinsville, GA.
As an expression of sympathy, the family welcomes memorial cards to be sent to “The Family of Ethan Pittman” c/o Munden Funeral Home, 2112 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557.
