Esther Doris (Willis) Moore

Esther Doris Willis Moore, 85, of Harkers Island, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Harkers Island Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by Rev. Louis Bass and Anthony Nelson, Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore was born and raised on Harkers Island and she was a member of Harkers Island Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by son, Rennie Moore of Harkers Island; daughter, Tammy Moore Smith of Morehead City; three grandchildren, Kristin Rochelle Smith, Amanda Juliane Smith and Dallas Mabrey Smith, Jr.; sister, Barbara Buck of Harkers Island; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Julian Moore, parents, Rennie and Gracie Willis, and seven brothers and sisters, Calvin Willis, Emma Dee Rose, Lois Willis, Weldon Willis, Vivian Guthrie, Clinton Neal Willis and Veta Dawn Willis..
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at the church.
