Ervin Elmore Glover

Ervin Elmore Glover, 67, of Atlantic Beach, passed away Tuesday August 28, 2012, at Carteret General Hospital.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Ervin grew up in Atlantic Beach and loved surfing. He served in the US Army and later graduated from the University of Dover. He taught History in public school systems in Dover, Delaware and also in Carteret County. The past 18 years Ervin resided at Sommerset Court Assisted Living where he developed meaningful relationships with residents and staff.
He is survived by his children Jeffrey Lloyd Glover, and Kristin Michelle Stonesifer and husband Todd: three grandchildren Bryn, Ryleigh, and Coker: three sisters Gloria Ann Ritchie, Emily Lee Willis and husband Capt. Jim Willis, and Rhoda Darnell Glover.
