Ernest Lynn "Buzzy" Redding

Ernest Lynn “Buzzy” Redding, 74, of Rocky Mount, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at his home on Emerald Isle.

Buzzy was born in Rocky Mount, on January 30, 1947, to the late John and Frances Redding. He was the proud owner of Kay’s Restaurant in Rocky Mount for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kay Ferrell Redding; sister, Jackie Williams (David) of Wake Forest; and grandchildren, Carolina Kaitlyn Redding, and John Ross Redding.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Lynn Redding.
