Emma Dunn

Emma Dunn, 87, of Beaufort, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at her home.

A graveside service was held 11:00 am Saturday at Arthur Cemetery with Rev. David Vesper officiating.

Mrs. Dunn was a member of the Original Free Will Baptist Church of Beaufort.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Chandler of Beaufort, Esther Russell of Morehead City, and Lola Sykes of Broad Creek; step-daughter, Malinda; son, Tad Golden of Harkers Island; step-sons, David Ray Dunn of Eden, Gary Dunn of New Bern, and Ronnie Dunn of Eden; sister, Mary Willis of Morehead City; 26 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wingate and Janie Riggin, her husbands, Walter Golden, and David Dunn; two daughters, Mellie Jane, and Esther Louise; two sons, Julius Golden, and Thomas Golden; two sisters, Sarah Rolison, and Nora Riggin; and two brothers, Ammie Riggin and John Riggin.
