Emerson Wesley High, 7 weeks, of Burgaw, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the University of North Carolina Health Center in Chapel Hill.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Daughty-Hill Family Cemetery in Newport, officiated by Reverend Kenny Chinn.
Emerson is survived by his parents, Wes and Rachel High of the home; sister, Adalynn High of the home; grandparents, Jane Hill Childress of Rocky Point, Dale Childress of Rocky Point, Kelly High of Wilmington; great-grandparents, Hilda Hill Gardner of Dunn, Elwood Watts of Whiteville and Betty Watts of Whiteville.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Watts Gore.
Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
