Eloise Marshburn Nicholas

Eloise Marshburn Nicholas, 81, of Beaufort, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Riverpoint Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New Bern.

A graveside service to honor Eloise's life will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 29th at Victoria Cemetery in Marshallberg.

Eloise was born on August 12, 1943, in Marshallberg, NC. She was a longtime resident of Beaufort, NC, where she lived a life marked by faith, love, and unwavering devotion.

On August 12, 1961, Eloise dedicated her life to Jehovah through baptism as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She remained a faithful servant for nearly 64 years, demonstrating steadfastness in her spiritual journey.

Eloise was known for her persistence, focus, loyalty, and generosity. She had a loving heart, a quirky spirit, and an adventurous nature, always seeking to live by her faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of faith and kindness will endure.

Eloise is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Marshburn; her niece, Susan Alvarado; along with many dear friends and members of her spiritual family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eloise Marshburn; her brother, William Marshburn; and her grandparents, Edward and Hattie Lewis.
