Ellen Mae Tribbett, 80, of Morehead City, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at Cherry Point Bay in Havelock.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Msgr. Frank Moeslein officiating.
Ellen was born and raised in Linwood, PA and had resided in Morehead City, NC for the past 21 years. For the last 8 months, she had been a resident at Cherry Point Bay in Havelock, NC.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Kenney of Newport, Linda Siuma and husband Stephan of Crystal Beach, MD, Patricia Combes of Morehead City, Maryann Quinn of Havelock (who was like a daughter), Kimberly Guzik and husband George of Lakeworth, FL; son, James Rivas of Hialeh, FL; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Rivas of Newport; Eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and sister, Barbara Parks of Youngstown, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mary Poore; son, Dominick J. Rivas, Jr.; grandson, James G. Rivas; and brother, Stanley Poore.
