Ellen Guthrie

Ellen Guthrie, 72, of Morehead City, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home.

Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Darlene Morris and Rev. Bobby Howard.

Ellen was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Salter Path.

She is survived by her husband, Phil Guthrie, of the home; daughter, Louise Guthrie of Hubert, NC; sons, Tom Guthrie and Lynn Guthrie, of the home; sister, Cindy Allen and husband, Gary, of Morehead City; brother, Bryan Salter and wife, Linda, of Morehead City; grandchildren, Amber Guthrie, Alex Guthrie and C.J. Guthrie; great-grandchildren, Brianne, Landon, Bryson and Colton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Guthrie and Nancy Salter Guthrie; brother, Norman Salter; grandmother, Lillian Golden; grandfather, Rumley Golden; and great-granddaughter Leann Warnike.
