Elizabeth "Betty" (Bradley) Mungo

Elizabeth "Betty" Mungo, 82, of Newport, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Thursday at Munden Funeral Home with Father Greg Spencer Presiding. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Greenleaf Memorial Park in New Bern with Rev. Scott Coghill officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Mungo of the home; two daughters, Elizabeth Ava Lupton of Massachusetts and Bonnie Francis DeCamp and husband Jerry of New Bern; three sons, Robert H. Lupton, III and wife Bernice and Bernard Bradley Lupton and wife Paula both of New Bern, and William Joseph Lupton of Falls Church, VA; brother, Bill Bradley of Tarpon Springs, FL; daughter-in-law, Johnna Joyce of Newport; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchilden.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan David Lupton.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
