Elizabeth was born April 26, 1930, in Budapest, Hungary. After World War II she married and moved to the United States. She has one daughter, Elizabeth Balough, who lives in Henderson, North Carolina.
Elizabeth was trained as a Clinical Pathologist and worked for Duke University where she became an Associate Member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists in 1986. She bought a home in Gloucester overlooking the Straits where she lived until 2017 when she bought a small home in Newport. In February 2018, she had a severe bout of pneumonia where she came near to the edge of death, but gradually recovered enough to live at Pruitt Health Care in Sea Level and subsequently The Heritage in Richlands, for the remainder of her life. She was never able to return home.
She began studying the Bible with one of her neighbors in Gloucester, Ms. Dee Bauer, and later Mrs. Donna Tokay, which eventually led to her dedicating her life to Jehovah God and was baptized at a Christian Circuit Assembly in Orangeburg, SC on November 16, 2014. Although she learned about Jehovah God in the last portion of her life, she did what she could under those circumstances going out in the door-to-door ministry and speaking with others about Jehovah God and His Kingdom under Christ Jesus, until she became incapacitated.
