Eileen Collinsworth

Eileen White Collinsworth, 67, of Mill Creek, died Monday, June 14, 2010, at her residence.
Eileen was a lifelong resident of Carteret County, who lived life to the fullest. She was always her own woman, a "take charge" lady, who lived life on her terms and by her own rules. Eileen loved and studied world religions, current events, history and art. The proud mother of three, Eileen wanted her children to experience all that life had to offer and supported them in every endeavor, giving them roots to grow and wings to fly. She attended Reece's Chapel in Mill Creek. She served on the Board of Trustees at Carteret Community College, where she worked in Continuing Education for several years. She was past vice chair of the Carteret County Republican Party. She attended Carteret Community College in Morehead City, NC and East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
Services will be held 10:00 am Thursday at Reece's Chapel in Mill Creek. Interment will follow in Bayview Cemetery in Mill Creek.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Raye Graham and husband Jim Skinner of Raleigh; sons, Frank Collinsworth and wife Donna of Mill Creek and John G. Collinsworth and wife Norma of Apex; sister, Belinda Bell and husband J.B. of Mill Creek and three grandchildren, Alexis, Ryan and Sean Collinsworth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Collinsworth; her parents, Pearl and Bill White and a brother, William Watts White.
The family will receive friends 7:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home.
