Edwin R. Allen

Mr. Edwin R. Allen, Jr., 81, of Newport, NC, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. Bart Edwards officiating.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Doris Allen of Newport, NC; and sons, Edwin Douglas Allen of MD, William Louis Allen of NJ and Timothy John Allen, also of NJ.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Janice Clare Suurballe and Catherine Lee Chevance.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
