Edward "Ronnie" Ronald Warren Sr.

Edward “Ronnie” Warren, Sr., 72, of Beaufort, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Carteret Health Care surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness church with Pastor William O’Neal and Pastor Jimmy Mercer officiating.

Ronnie spent 40 years of his life with Carolina Power and Light Company. In 2012 he became the owner of Warren & Nelson Grading and Construction Inc. Ronnie was known for his passion to work as well as his generosity. He loved to be on the water, either boating or fishing. He also enjoyed spending time hunting, gardening, and taking care of his chickens. Most of all, Ronnie was very dedicated and loved to attend church. He will be truly missed.

He is survived by his son, Ron Warren; brother, Tony Warren and wife Rhoda; sister, Gale May and husband Ricky; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Pauline Warren; brothers, Richard and Gary Warren; sister, Pauline Murphy; and his special dog, Sophie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City.
