Edward "Ed" John Albus

Edward "Ed" John Albus, 83, of Newport, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at his home.
No services at this time.
Ed was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Ocean Masonic Lodge, Newport Moose Lodge, and Sudan Shriners, Marine Corp League, Studebakers Drivers Club, and Disabled American Veterans. He retired from the USMC with 20 years of honorable service.
He is survived by two sons Edward William Albus of Paso Robles, CA, and Chris S. Albus of Cave Creek, AZ; two daughters Dianna Albus of Vista, CA, and Debbie Albus of Atlantic, NC; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Grace Albus.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children Hospital Office of Developement 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607-1460, or Marine Corp Heritage Foundation 3800 Fettler Park Dr. Suite 104 Dumfries, VA 22025.
