Edward Bruce Tapscott, 88, of Merrimon Community, died Friday November 4, at Harbor View Health Care Center.
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Monday, at Carteret Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Ann Sims officiating.
He is survived by wife Jean Moody Tapscott of Merrimon Community: two sons Edward B. Tapscott Jr. and wife Bonnie Wren of Greenville, and Jerry D. Tapscott of Merrimon Community: daughter Laura Tapscott Daughtry and husband Steven of Dudley: grandchildren Elana Hope Inselmann and husband Ryan, Emily Brianne Evans and Husband Jay, Anthony Steve Daughtry and wife Dawn, and David Christopher Daughtry and wife Shannon: great grandchildren Bryen Anthony Daughtry, Aliyah Melissa Daughtry, Joselyn Rae Evans, Abigail Rose Evans, Jeremiah Reed Evans, and Grayson Parker Inselmann: a brother William E. Tapscott of California.
Visitation will follow service at Ann Street United Methodist Church at the Eure Bldg.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Ann Street UMC at Office 417 Ann St. Beaufort NC 28516.
