Edward Ronald Chadwick, 80, of Mill Creek, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Graham Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Bill Hooper and Rev. Paul Loftin officiating. Interment will follow at Graham Memorial Church Cemetery.

Ronnie Chadwick was born and raised in the Mill Creek Community. He owned and operated Chadwick Construction, specializing in marine construction. He spent time in the 82nd Airborne in the U.S. Army.

Ronnie loved working with his hands and took pride in working hard providing for his family. He was a Godly man that raised his family in the church. He lived his life as an example of his Lord’s love. Ronnie published a book titled “The United States in Prophecy”. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Chadwick of Greenville; daughter, Ronda Bennett and husband Chris of Newport; sons, Ronnie Wayne Chadwick and wife Valley of Newport and Kerry Chadwick of Beaufort; daughter, Linda Holton and husband Terry of Beaufort; four step-children, Liz Herring, Debbie Watts, Charles Ledbetter, and Parker Ledbetter; daughter in law Cindy Chadwick of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Eric Chadwick, Audra Chadwick, Jacob Bennett, Rebecca Bennett Miller, Caralyn Chadwick, Brooke Sykes and Brittany Sykes; six great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Gilpin; brother, Terry Chadwick; and numerous nieces and nephews including Shelia Griffin and Chris Goodwin.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Chadwick; his two sons, Billy Chadwick and Bobby Chadwick; his mother, Margaret Chadwick; and his father, Edward Chadwick.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2016 at Graham Memorial.
