Edna "Barbara" (Moffett) Wesley

Edna "Barbara" Moffett Wesley, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Crystal Bluffs.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Matthew Smith and Pastor Manley B. Rose, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens. Family will recieve friends following the Interment at the Church Fellowship Hall.
Barbara was born on April 1, 1934 in High Point, NC, and then moved to Durham, NC where she was raised and went to Durham High School, where she played in the softball league. She and her husband "Big Daddy Wesley" own and operated Big Daddy Wesley's in Beaufort, NC for 42 years.
She was predeased by her husband Donald B. Wesley Sr., and her mother and father Howard and Mattie Moffett.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Wesley Russell and husband Donnie, Barbara Jeannie Wesley Merritt and husband John; son Donald B, Wesley Jr., and wife Lillian: seven grandchildren: and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
