Edna Faye Garner Lewis, 75, of Morehead City, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
The church and family will conduct a Celebration of Departure at Crystal Coast Church of the Nazarene at 3:00 pm Tuesday with Rev. Gene McLendon and Chaplain Jerry D. Lewis officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry T. Lewis of the home; daughter, Susan Carol Lewis Sinkler and husband Chuck of Morehead City; two sons, Jerry D. Lewis and wife Debby of Alexandria, VA and William A. "Bill" Lewis and wife Lucy of Shenandoah Valley,VA ; two brothers, Mickey Baysden and Dennis Baysden; two sisters, Brenda Hallmark and Cora Ann Baysden both of Morehead City; also 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Mission Soup Kitchen of Carteret County, PO Box 1438, Morehead City, NC 28557.
