Edith Hill Tippett, 93, of Morehead City, died Monday, May 6, 2013, at home surrounded by family.
To honor the request of Edith, there will be no services.
She is survived by one daughter Diane G. Thompson of Morehead City: a son Harold W. Tippett, Jr., of Morehead City: sisters Wyona Patterson of Morehead City, Mildred Ballou of Morehead City, and Dorothy May Grisham of Morehead City: six grandchildren: six great grandchildren: and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Tippett, Sr., her parents Vernon and Beulah Hill, and two sisters Bertha Hill, and Carolyn Trester.
