Earleen Arnold, 75, of Newport, passed away Friday, August 31­, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

The family will honor Earleen’s wishes by celebrating her life privately.

She is survived by her companion, Jas Martis, of Newport, NC; daughters, Lynn Edwards of Whittier, NC, Joyce Givins and husband, Tommy, of Alvaton, KY, Barbara Gravatt and fiancé, Adam, of Newport, NC, and Marissa Huff and husband, Robert Jr., of Newport, NC; sisters, Darleen Ritter of Centralia, IL, Shirley Kaegy and husband, Dan, of Breese, IL, and Charmaine Albers and husband, Gene, of Breese, IL; brother, Glen Dorries of Breese, IL; grandchildren, Andrew Jackson Rolett, Tara Arnold Lewis, Elizabeth Gravatt, Alan Hogue, Nathan Hogue, Katherine White; great grandchildren, Arlo Rolett, Avery Rolett, Helen Frances Britt, Lilly White, and Katie White.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Dorries and Evelyn Hellman Dorries and husband, David W. Arnold.
